Podcasts are information trapped in audio. Show Notes is read-first, listen-optional.
Most people subscribe to more podcasts than they can listen to, and every podcast app treats audio as the primary interface. Show Notes inverts that. It reads the shows you already subscribe to and gives you a written briefing, so listening becomes the thing you choose to do for the episodes worth an hour rather than the only way in.
It is closer to a personalized newsletter than to a podcast app. The product is shipped and running, and it is not where most of the attention goes right now. It stays listed here because it works and because it is honest to show the whole shelf, including the parts that are not moving this month.
