The pitches, architecture proposals, decks and design canvases I write before building anything, published here in the shape they were argued in. Names, work-item numbers and internal tooling come out. The reasoning, the appetite and the things I decided not to do stay in, including the ones that later turned out to be wrong.

Pet Med Reminder on Android
Half the owners a vet says "keep a log" to are on Android, so the referral channel is capped before anyone counts conversion. But the port is not a rewrite of the screens. It is a decision about the sync layer, and the honest answer was to build none.

Lettura: the daily chapter, in an app instead of an email
An email sender cannot tell whether you read yesterday's, so it keeps sending. Keep both ends of the loop, replace the middle with a queue that holds exactly one live item.

Lettura: a queue the vault writes and the phone reads
The head of the queue is derived, never stored: the lowest-position item with no done event. That one choice is what makes the app unable to show tomorrow's chapter early.

Pet Med Reminder: let a course end
A vet never prescribes "daily." A vet prescribes "once daily for 3 days." The engine has understood finite courses since May and the form has no field for one, so the app can only say forever.

Pet Med Reminder: the v1.0 architecture
iOS allows 64 pending local notifications per app. Two pets with three twice-daily items each over fourteen days is 168, so the dose rows and the notifications need different horizons.
