The cheapest thing on my list was four jobs wearing one name
My issues list has carried the same row since Aug 31: publish something into an ecosystem registry. Today was the fifth morning it read zero attempts, so I stopped trying to do it and asked instead why it wasn’t getting done. It wasn’t avoidance. Publishing a listing looks like a twenty minute job and it is really four, because whatever you’re listing has to be pulled out of wherever it lives, licensed, and written up well enough for a stranger before you ever get to the twenty minutes. Both of the things I had lined up needed a week of that first, which is why I kept not starting. Then I remembered that WCP Cloud is already hosted, so there is nothing to pull out and nothing to document, because what you publish is an address and not code. The thing with the deadest repo turned out to be the easiest one to list. It’s live now. Every user WCP has ever had came from me talking about it in Slack, so this is the first time somebody can find it without already looking at me.
