Italian

Live Is it working for real people?

The job

When I have family in Italy and school-grade Italian that has gone quiet, I want to know which words I actually hold, so that practice aims at the gaps instead of the whole language.

Three products, one shared scorecard, because they are three doors onto a single word graph.

This is the first time any of the Italian products has had deliberate work done on how it is found. The reason to believe it is worth doing sits one card down: a small app about pet medication converts above its category median on a listing nobody has ever touched.

Two of the three key results here are free. Their measurement windows were set weeks ago and close inside this fortnight whether anyone writes them up or not. Writing them up is the whole difference between an experiment and a habit.

I1 Work the store surface, not the reservoir

Last cycle this line carried three key results aimed at audiences that do not exist yet: a nightly newsletter with one subscriber, a live conversation room that needs someone present to run it, and a share loop that went 24, 5, 2, 2, 1, 0, 0. All three scored zero. They are retired. What is left is the surface that costs nobody's hours to keep working: search.
