Show Notes
Live Is it working for real people?
Every other product here has to name its audience, its channel, and whose hours that channel spends. Show Notes cannot do it. There is no audience that passes the test, no way to be found by search, and the only promising channel is a community where being present costs the one thing that has been scarcest all year.
It was kept anyway, deliberately, with one objective rather than three. Recording that as an override rather than quietly bending the rule is the entire reason this note is here.
S1 Make onboarding a person financially safe
One objective, and it is the one that blocks everything else. An unbounded per-account transcription cost is what parked this product, and what turned a single over-eager import into a $150 bill. The backend also emitted 923 errors over 28 days and, on most of those days, nothing else. The port, the app submission and the outreach all move out of the scorecard and into the queue.
| # | Key result | Baseline | Target | Where it is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S1.1 | Per-account processing cap enforced by 7 Sept | Does not exist | Shipped, with a test that trips it | Needs action: Not started |
| S1.2 | Cost per new account published weekly | Unmeasured. One accidental import cost $150, which is the only data point | Published | Needs action: Not started |
